PLOTTING & REPLIES

-For my own sanity and to keep rping fun, this blog is mutuals only, though I'm not a terribly selective person. My inbox, however, is for everyone and anyone.

-Since I tend to reply slowly at times there is little need to poke me, but if you want to be sure I have your reply, you're more than welcome to ask.

-I am more than fine with having multiple threads with the same partner.

-I very rarely post greeters anymore, but I'm always happy to discuss writing a starter or plotting something out. My ask and IM's are always open for whatever shenanigans.

-My Discord is available to mutuals upon request for plotting, chatting, venting, general nonsense.

-I don't require that my partners match my length or style, but please give me something to work with. One or two word replies are really hard to do anything with and will probably be dropped.

-First person is a no no, it just feels weird to me and gets hard to reply to.

-If you want to turn an ask into a thread please, please, PLEASE, put it in a new post.

INTERACTIONS

-This blog is multiship, multiverse, crossover, AU, and OC friendly.

-Amora is generally NOT a nice character. In the comics she is a villain about 95% of the time that brings about havoc, destruction, and death, albeit in a pretty sexy manner. So, don't expect her to be all flowers and sunshine. Also, she is not a one dimensional character. She does not immediately bite heads off and Thor is not the only thing that occupies her mind.

-She also isn't fond of being disrespected, belittled, told she's lesser etc. As a villain, if your muse pisses her off, she will act accordingly, and it won't be pretty. Can't say I didn't warn you, so if you don't like it, I guess, don't do it.

SHIPPING

-Shipping is based on chemistry alone. I will not dive into it without some buildup and our muses connecting.

-My muse may flirt, but I will never force her or a ship on anyone and ask the same of others.

-I'm incredibly selective when it comes to exclusives. If I have one, it'll most likely be since that writer/muse is already the only one I interact with, which means it won't ever be for muses like Loki or Thor who are so prevalent in her life and on this site, as I've found each to have their distinct differences.

-That being said I do have a few mains, but that doesn't mean I won't interact with other versions of that character.

BACKSTORY:

The Enchantress' parentage is unknown, though it is known she has a sister by the name of Lorelei. While still in adolescence, she ran away to the land of the Norns and apprenticed herself to Karnilla, one of the most powerful sorceresses in all of the Asgardian dimension. There she studied all the basic arts of Asgardian magic until Karnilla expelled her for being too undisciplined. She picked up further mystical skills from seducing other Asgardian magi and wizards, with her magical arsenal focused on (but not limited to) enthralling and mind-control. Her, by now, well renowned, and unparalleled, beauty did not hinder in this.

The Enchantress' first appearance in the Marvel Universe took place in Journey Into Mystery #103 (April 10th, 1964), where she attempted to eliminate Thor's love interest, Jane Foster, at Odin's behest in order to have the thunder god for herself. From her first appearance, she was assisted by a powerful minion — Skurge the Executioner. The Executioner loved the Enchantress, but she merely kept stringing him along with her feminine wiles, using him as her muscle until he sacrificed himself to Hela's legion of dead to save Asgard, which drove her quite mad. (Thor #362, December 1985)

Amora exhibited a capricious nature that was quick to toy with mortals with little concern for them. Seductive, manipulative and caring only about herself. Vanity was of great concern to her, few things were more important to Amora than maintaining her external veneer of incredible beauty that made her worthy of the moniker of Enchantress. Her beauty, in fact, is said to be such that no mortal man can resist her, and even the gods themselves must rely on their iron will to not fall victim to her gaze alone.

Banished to Midgard for her failure to rid Thor's heart of the mortal, Jane Foster, Amora was pardoned in recent years after helping her fellow gods and goddesses to defend their home realm of Asgard against the fire demon Surtur. She has had a several millennia long on-and-off romantic link to her longtime friend and foe Thor which began when they were children and has continued ever since. As Thor's foe, ally, advisor and lover, Amora has been a prominent figure in Thor's Asgard.

POWERS:

SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH: Amora is superhumanly strong, possessing physical strength roughly average for an Asgardian woman. At her peak, she is able to lift about 25 tons.

SUPERHUMAN SPEED: Amora can run and move at speeds that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

SUPERHUMAN STAMINA: Amora's Asgardian musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human being. Her muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than human muscles. At her peak, she can exert herself physically for about 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in her blood begins to impair her.

SUPERHUMANLY DENSE TISSUE: Amora's bodily tissues, like those of all Asgardians, possesses roughly three times the density of human bodily tissues. This contributes somewhat to her superhuman strength, her durability and her weight.

SUPERHUMAN DURABILITY: Like all Asgardians, Amora's body is much more resistant to conventional physical injury than a human being. She can withstand great impacts, exposure to temperature extremes, and powerful energy blasts that would severely injure or kill a human being with no injury to herself.

REGENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR: It is possible for Amora to sustain injury, despite her body’s resistance. In such an event, Amora's superior metabolism enables her to heal injuries much faster and more extensively than a normal human would be capable of. However, she is unable to regenerate missing limbs or organs without the aid of powerful magical assistance.

SUPERHUMAN LONGEVITY: Unlike some other god pantheons, such as the Olympians, the Asgardians do age, though it is at a pace vastly slower than a human. Although she is several millennia old in age, Amora has the appearance and vitality of an Asgardian woman in her prime. She is, however, immune to all known Earthly diseases and infections.

SUPERHUMAN AGILITY: Amora's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

SUPERHUMAN REFLEXES: Amora's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

SORCERY: The Enchantress' magical powers are among the most powerful of all Asgardians. The Enchantress's strength and proficiency with magic is second only to Karnilla, with enough power even in the Earthly realm to cloud the sight of Agamotto through his Orb for hours from the view of Doctor Strange. The Enchantress' powers derive from two main sources: her innate capacity to manipulate ambient Asgardian magical energy (of power-objects and entities found therein or merely Asgard's natural magic) honed through practice, and her acquired knowledge of spells and enchantments of Asgardian origin. She also displayed the powers of telekinesis, time-disruption, levitation, mind switching, and mind control.

ENERGY PROJECTION: Amora can use her sorcery to generate powerful blasts of concussive force, heat, or light.

TELEPORTATION: Amora can teleport within a single dimension, or across the various dimensional places of the Nine Worlds of Asgard.

DISGUISE: Either through illusion or physical transformation, the Enchantress can also alter her appearance, taking the shape of other humanoid beings, or change the appearance of her clothing.

TRANSMUTATION: Amora can turn men into trees or statues with a kiss.

GOLD AND DIAMOND TEARS: Much like Freya who produced golden tears, the Enchantress' tears turn into gold and diamond.

ENERGY SHIELDS

SEDUCTION: The main focus of the Enchantress' powers has been the enhancement of her natural beauty and allure so that men, mortal or otherwise, are overwhelmed with desire for her. She has enchanted her lips so that a single kiss is sufficient to make virtually any man a slave to her will, obedient to her every command, for about a week. Subsequent kisses enable her to enthrall someone’s will indefinitely.

WEAKNESSES: Amora's spells derive their potency from Asgardian sources (such as power objects or entities), and thus are most potent when used in the dimension of Asgard itself. A prolonged absence from Asgard tends to diminish her powers altogether, though they never fade completely. Although she has a superhuman physique, Amora has little experience in hand-to-hand combat, typically relying on minions to fight for her. The Enchantress cannot access her spells with her hands bound and her mouth gagged. Previously cast spells like her enhanced aura of seduction, however, can continue to function. She was once able to seduce a Frost Giant with her gaze alone while bound and gagged.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

EARTH - 616
Ally of Loki, Skurge the Executioner, the Masters of Evil, Arkon, Ares, Power Man, The Dark Council, and more. This verse takes place at any point in the main Earth-616 continuity from Amora’s first appearance in 1964 until now, barring only a few arcs such as her stint with the Sisterhood of Mutants.

EARTH - 3515
Thor is the Lord and All-Father of Asgard and, to the surprise of many, has made Amora his wife and queen. Not long after their marriage Amora produced Thor's first heir; their son Magni, god of strength. Loki became a close advisor, given his own responsibilities within the kingdom, Sif has been banished, Balder given the fate of a traitor after kidnapping their son and holding him at swordpoint. Thor's reign otherwise is prosperous and peaceful. (This verse is a slight deviation from the actual Earth-3515 arc.)

THE REALM ETERNAL [ASGARD]
Daughter of Sjofn, goddess of parental love, and one of the fiercest generals to ever grace Odin's armies, Amora was born of nobility and grew to become the goddess of beauty, lust, sex, and unending love. She also happens to be one of Asgard's most powerful sorceresses, second only to Odin and Loki, as well as its greatest beauty, a fact which has, over time, gone to her head. Her great beauty and penchant for using her arcane knowledge to lure men into being her pawns, she was given the moniker The Enchantress; a name many fear as she's always been an ally to the trickster prince Loki. Separate they cause Asgard a great deal of trouble, together they wreak havoc. She has been banished and welcomed back into the immortal fold of the Realm Eternal on several occasions.

FOR LONG HAVE I WISHED TO CONQUER [MIDGARD]
Banished to Earth for crimes against Asgard in 1964, Amora maintains an extremely lavish lifestyle, one befitting a goddess living amongst mortals. Based mainly in the Midtown area of Manhattan, she also keeps luxurious residences in cities such as Paris, London, Los Angeles, Rome, Metropolis,Tromsø, Prague, and Tokyo. No villain wants to always live 5 miles from Stark Tower or the Baxter Building.

TWILIGHT OF THE GODS (MCU)
Taking place within the events of the Marvel movies, Netflix shows, and Agents of SHIELD. Whether Amora has been keeping to herself on Asgard to avoid the same fate as her sister, Lorelei, or has been long banished to Earth and is merely watching the chaos unfold is purely thread dependent.

FIRST THUNDER (YOUNGER)
With her only family now consisting of her younger sister, Lorelei, Amora left for Nornheim to study the arcane arts beneath Karnilla, the Norn Queen, known to many as the Dragon of the North. Due to disobedience she was sent away and banished before her studies were complete. Using her growing beauty, natural allure, and a mastery over mental manipulation, Amora gained further knowledge from Asgard's greatest mages. She left Asgard a girl and returned a powerful young woman with a penchant for seduction, an Enchantress.

FIRE AND DARKNESS (SKYRIM)
The Nord daughter of a berserker warrior and a kind healer, Amora grew up in Whiterun surrounded by The Companions, with whom her father was close until his death in battle. Encouraged by her mother, a follower of Mara, early on, Amora studied at the College of Winterhold since her life's wish of becoming the Sybil of Dibella wasn't her fate. Her great beauty, and the fact that she was a Nord, made many at the college question her abilities, but she soon became one of the best enchanters in all of Skyrim, a fact which made her useful to certain factions. Leaving the college for Solitude, she opened up a shop that catered to all magical needs; potions, spells, training, and enchanting. It quickly became quite successful allowing her to buy the manor that once belonged to Vittoria Vici.
